Meat Loaf Recipe
A classic meal made the perfect way ... A sure way to get your family to the table!

Meatloaf: |
| |
2 tsp vegetable oil |
| |
1 medium onion, chopped |
| |
2 garlic cloves minced |
| |
2 eggs |
| |
1/2 tsp dried thyme |
| |
1 tsp salt |
| |
1/2 tsp ground black pepper |
| |
2 tsp Dijon mustard |
| |
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce |

(1 Bottle) |
1/4 tsp Hot BBQ Sauce |
| |
1/2 cup milk |
| |
1 lb lean ground beef |
| |
1/2 lb ground pork |
| |
1/2 lb ground veal |
| |
20 Saltine crackers, crushed |
| |
1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley |
| |

Brown Sugar Glaze: |

(1 Bottle) |
1/2 cup Mild Bar-B-Q Sauce |
| |
4 tbsp brown sugar |
| |
4 tsp red wine vinegar |
| |
|

For the glaze, mix all ingredients in small pan, set aside.
For the meatloaf, pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Heat oil in medium skillet. Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened. Let cool. In a large mixing bowl add eggs, salt, pepper, thyme, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and milk. Mix thoroughly. Add meat, crackers, parsley and the cooked onion and garlic. Mix with fork until evenly blended and mixture doesn’t stick to the bowl. If it sticks add milk. With wet hands, pat mixture into 9x5-inch loaf shape. Place in foil lined baking pan for easy clean up. Brush with half the glaze. Bake until crisp, about 1 hour. Cool at least 20 minutes and serve with the remaining glaze. |
